Millie Mason

Millie and Nicole walked down the street; their hands were full of bags. After the job that Millie just pulled off, she needed some retail therapy to help her think and feel better. Knuckles brought up the ladies rear looking out for any signs of trouble.

“Eric is pissed with you right now,” Nicole told Millie.

Millie waved the comment off. “He’ll get over it; what Eric has to understand is there ain’t no friends in this business. He thinks if someone is nice to him or treats him with respect that they won’t put a bullet in the back of his head.” She shook her head. “I keep telling him this is a tough business and only the strong survive.”

Nicole nodded. “We been talking about maybe starting a family.”

Millie stopped and looked Nicole up and down. “A family?” she repeated.

“Yes a family.”

“Hmmp,” Millie huffed. “I’ve never heard of an assassin starting a family,” she said throwing shade.

“Well I was thinking about and besides I’m not going to be an assassin forever,” Nicole pointed out.

“You’re letting my son change you and it’s disgusting,” Millie shook her head. “You the best killer I ever met and now out the blue you want to start a family.”

“I’m just thinking about the future Millie, what’s wrong with that?” Nicole asked. She was confused why Millie didn’t seem happy for her or better yet happy for her own son something about that didn’t make sense or sit well with Nicole.

“The only thing y’all should be thinking about right now is how to get this money,” Millie said rudely. The truth of the matter was Millie knew that if Nicole did decide to start a family she wouldn’t be able to use her as a pawn to do most of her dirty work anymore and that was the real problem and reason why Millie was against them starting a family. The only thing was she couldn’t just come out and verbalize that.

“Millie I think these two guys in the grey car is following us,” Knuckles said speaking for the first time. Millie and Nicole looked back and saw a grey car with dark tinted windows coasting at a low speed on the side of them. Millie leaned forward and squinted her eyes to try and get a better look inside the vehicle but it was no use the tint were way to dark.

“Fuck this!” Millie huffed as she walked up to the driver’s door and kicked it. Instantly the grey car sped. “Did you get the plates?”

“Yeah, looks like Miami tags,” Nicole said. The first thing that came to her mind was Brady’s people coming to get some payback. “Did anyone see you when you did that thing out in Miami?” Nicole asked with a raised brow.

“Not that I know of,” Millie shrugged. She didn’t want to admit it but the grey car with smoked out tinted windows startled her a little bit. She had no clue who would be following her in broad daylight especially with Miami tags.
